Marked with the distinctive red line normally found on their professional lenses, the imagePROGRAF PRO-1100 Professional 17" Wireless Inkjet Photo Printer from Canon is designed to offer users wide format print sizes with deep blacks, detailed gradations, and a wide color gamut that accurately reproduces even the most difficult colors. This printer utilizes FINE (Full-Photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology, and the 11-color LUCIA PRO II pigment-based ink set creates prints with improved gloss uniformity and anti-bronzing, while the Chroma Optimizer enhances glossiness, flattens the print surface, and expands the color range. The PRO-1100 also offers a print size up to 17" wide and can print borderless up to 17 x 22" as well as work with media ranging from 0.1 to 0.7mm thick.

Equipped with the L-COA PRO Image Processing Engine, the PRO-1100 can quickly and accurately determine printing paths and patterns in order to work as quickly and efficiently as possible. This enables bordered 17 x 22" photos to be created in just four minutes while Canon's Air Feed System helps prevent paper from being deflected so ink falls accurately and in the right place. Also, to expand on the capabilities of the LUCIA PRO II ink set, it uses high light-resistant inks for long-term preservation of printed images, plus improved scratch resistance, improved black density, and improved reproduction in blue-dark areas.

A 3.0" color LCD is available on the front of the unit for easily viewing settings and making adjustments. Connectivity options include USB 2.0, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). Wireless printing adds compatibility with Canon's PRINT app, Apple AirPrint, and Mopria for iOS and Android devices.
