The Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S Lens offers long reach for wildlife, bird and sports photography in a compact Phase Fresnel design. It measures approximately 278mm long and weighs approximately 1,470g with the tripod collar or 1,390g without it, making handheld field work more manageable.
Its 21-element optical construction includes two ED elements, one SR element and one PF element, with Nano Crystal Coat to help reduce ghosting and flare. Quiet stepping-motor autofocus supports sensitive wildlife situations, while Vibration Reduction provides 5.5 stops of compensation, extending to 6.0 stops with compatible Synchro VR cameras under Nikonโs specified test conditions. A fluorine-coated front element and dust- and drip-resistant construction support outdoor use, although resistance is not guaranteed in every situation. The lens focuses from 4m, reaches 0.15ร reproduction and accepts 95mm front filters.
