Fast, quiet HLA autofocus and an inner zoom mechanism support still photography and video, while minimised focus breathing helps keep framing more consistent during focus changes. The Canon RF version features a control ring rather than the aperture ring fitted to other mounts. Weighing 560g, this APS-C zoom lens features dust- and splash-resistant construction and a water- and oil-repellent front coating, but is not waterproof.
